The release marks the first time the album has been available as a half-speed master individually; it was previously only part of CCR’s 7LP Studio Album Collections box set.

Green River was one of three albums released by CCR during 1969, all of which made the US Top Ten. Released in August of that year, Green River was the band’s first No. 1 album and includes the signature hits “Bad Moon Rising” and “Green River”, enduring CCR fan favorites “Lodi” and “Wrote A Song For Everyone”, plus a cover of the R&B standard “The Night Time Is The Right Time”.

Mastered at half-speed at Abbey Road Studios, Green River benefits from an exacting process that allows for an exceptional level of sonic clarity and punch, bringing these classic recordings a new vibrancy. This 180-gram LP comes housed in a handsome tip-on jacket replicating the packaging of the original pressing.
